Tamarama Point

Based on a surviving fragment of the figure Poseidon, from the Parthenon. A study of the intense internal force and torsion within the fractured stone and the point at which the figure ceases to be. A classically inspired plinth and the bronze are married at a sharp angle, reinforcing the tenuous placement of the original, whilst across the broken face text calls out for a 'darkness blown from heaven' against the enemies of Athena, loosely quoting Euripides.
